Information you provide

When you use the AI assistant, your message and recent conversation context are sent to the AI provider so a response can be generated. CringleAI does not intentionally save AI prompt text in its own analytics database. Do not submit secrets, sensitive personal information, or confidential material.

If you contact Chris Cringle, the name, email address, company, inquiry type, and message you choose to include are handled through your email provider and ours. If you subscribe, Stripe handles payment details and returns limited billing information such as customer, checkout, and subscription identifiers.

Automatic information

CringleAI records limited, privacy-conscious usage information such as page views, general device and browser category, approximate country or region supplied by the hosting network, referral source, campaign tags, assistant mode, outcome status, and response timing. CringleAI’s application analytics are designed not to store IP addresses or prompt text.

Cloudflare and other infrastructure providers may process network information, including IP addresses, as needed to deliver, secure, and protect the service.

Cookies and local identifiers

CringleAI uses necessary browser cookies to protect checkout, remember paid access, and count the three-message trial. These cookies are used for security and service operation, not third-party advertising. A session identifier stored in the browser helps count anonymous visits and usage events.

How information is used

Information is used to provide AI responses, operate subscriptions, prevent abuse, secure the service, understand performance, improve features, respond to inquiries, comply with law, and enforce the Terms. CringleAI does not sell personal information and does not use third-party behavioral advertising on the site.

Service providers

CringleAI relies on service providers that process information for specific functions: OpenAI for AI processing, Stripe for checkout and subscription management, and Cloudflare for hosting, delivery, and security. Their handling of information is also governed by their own policies.

Data sent through the OpenAI API is not used to train OpenAI models by default unless the account holder opts in. OpenAI may retain API abuse-monitoring data for a limited period under its current platform policies.

Retention and security

Information is retained only as reasonably needed for the purposes described, legal obligations, dispute resolution, security, and service operation. Necessary access and trial cookies expire automatically. Billing records may be retained by Stripe and CringleAI as required for accounting, fraud prevention, and legal compliance.

Reasonable safeguards are used, including secure cookies and restricted access, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security.

Your choices and rights

You can block or delete cookies through your browser, though the free trial, checkout, or paid access may stop working. You may cancel a subscription through the secure Stripe billing portal. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or a copy of personal information.
